Tuesday – Sunday: 1 pm – 5 pm

Every first Thursday of the month we’re open until 9 p.m.
Closed on Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Carnival Sunday and Carnival Monday, Easter Day and Whit Sunday.
Open on Easter Monday, Whit Monday and Boxing Day.

TICKETS

  • € 8.00 p.p. (incl. free cup of coffee)
  • Students: € 4,00 p.p.
  • From January 1, 2023, the museum only accepts cashless payments by debit or credit card (Visa and Mastercard)
  • Museum card, patron card, ICOM card and friends card valid
  • Accompanied children under 12 years: free
  • Group rate (min. 10 persons) € 6.00 p.p.
  • School group: € 25.00 (including guided tour)
  • School group Valkenburg a/d Geul: free of charge
  • Guided tour (min 10, max 25 persons): € 6 p.p. and € 25.00 for guide
  • A surcharge may apply for special exhibitions

PARKING

Museum Valkenburg does not have its own parking facilities. Paid parking is available at Walramplein (5 min. walk) or at the parking garage Aan de Kei, Sint Pieterstraat (10 min. walk).

ACCESSIBILITY

  • The museum’s main entrance is only accessible via steps. If you are unable to use the steps, your companion can ask a member of our team at the Info Desk to open the side door for you.
  • The main exhibits are on the first floor, in two galleries that have plenty of space for wheelchairs to maneuver. The remaining galleries can be reached by one or two short ramps. If you need any assistance, a member of our team will be happy to help.
  • There are bathroom facilities for visitors with disabilities.
  • You can take an elevator to the first and second floors. However, it could be too small to accommodate a larger wheelchair.
  • When you’re ready to leave, ask a member of our team at the Info Desk to unlock the side door.
